As a qualified business and personal coach, I offer life coaching for individuals, maternity coaching, walk and talk coaching and coaching for people working in the education sector.

I have 40 years experience of working in the education sector in a variety of contexts; community arts, mainstream and special schools. I trained as an art teacher and taught in secondary schools in North London and Hertfordshire working as Head of Department and Head of Faculty. I then went on to work within the secondary special school sector and have 18 years experience as Deputy Head and Head of School working with young people with social, emotional and behavioural problems.
I understand the demands, stresses and pressures of working in schools, managing a staff team, communicating with trustees and governors, dealing with external agencies and forming positive working relationships with families.

Having regular coaching sessions at my place of work provided me with invaluable support. It also helped me to experience personal growth, develop a positive mind set and adopt a solution-focussed approach.

As a Trustee of an arts charity I enjoy collaborating with other arts professionals and thinking creatively about new projects. In working as a Visual Arts Consultant I have provided training for national arts festivals for schools and been involved with more local community arts initiatives.

In my free time I love my daily walks in the woods with our dog, observing the changing seasons and spending time with family and my three grown up children.
